2017 Rock Grammy Nominations

Contrary to popular belief, rock and roll music is not dead. This year’s Grammy awards will be highlighted by the likes of super mainstream artists such as Beyonce and Adele. Beyonce even got herself nominated for a Rock Grammy thanks to her “Don’t Hurt Yourself” track with the one and only Jack White. It could be expected that David Bowie’s life will be honored with couple of posthumous awards. If you buy Beyonce tickets, you are not coming close to attending a rock concert, so most rock fans probably don’t appreciate Queen B invading their category. Here are the nominations in rock categories at the 59th Grammy Awards.
