Chance The Rapper Grabs Seven Grammy Nominations











Chance The Rapper’s breakthrough year has been highlighted by being recognized by the highest honor in the music industry. The Chicago rapper received seven nominations for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, which will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 13th. Chance’s seven nominations are right below fellow hip-hop stars Kanye West, Drake, and Rihanna with their eight nominations. Beyonce leads all artists with nine nominations. Chance’s success could symbolize a gigantic shift in the music industry, as his mixtape Coloring Book, was not available as a physical copy, as it was only available exclusively on streaming services. Below are the categories Chance is nominated in.
