Daniel Craig Reportedly Offered $150 Million For Two More Bond Movies

James Bond is one of the most popular characters in the entire world. From movies that span decades, to popular video games, the name Bond…James Bond, is known throughout the world.

The lineage of actors that have played the British super agent is impressive: Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, and today’s Bond, Daniel Craig. Craig’s role as Bond has been critically acclaimed, as movies such as Skyfall and Casino Royale are seen as top-tier Bond movies.

The latest Bond movie that featured Craig was 2015’s Spectre, which made over $880 million at the box office. As of right now, Craig is not signed to any future Bond films, even though a sequel to Spectre is in the works. In October of 2016, Craig hinted that he doesn’t plan on leaving the role anytime soon saying, “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve got the best job in the world. I’ll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it. If I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly.”

Well according to a report on Radar Online, Craig has quite an incentive to get a kick out of playing James Bond. Sony has reportedly offered Craig $150 million to play 007 in two more films in the storied film franchise. A source told radar ” The studio is desperate to secure the actor’s services while they phase in a younger long-term successor.” There have been a few actors who have rumored to be connected to be the next Bond, including Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, and Michael Fassbender. If the $150 million offer is truly on the table, it’s safe to assume that the next Bond actor will have to wait at least two more films.
