Buddy Hield was one of the most intriguing players coming into the 2016 NBA Draft. The 22-year old made headlines after one of the most impressive college seasons seen in recent years. His senior year at Oklahoma saw him average a staggering 25 points per game, earning him the John Wooden award and Naismith Player of the Year.

The New Orleans Pelicans drafted Hield with the sixth overall pick in the draft. He should be a great addition to the Pelicans and contribute immediately to a team that has had some troubles getting over the hump in recent seasons. Pelicans tickets are easy to come by, so fans can now enjoy watching Hield develop as a player as well watching Anthony Davis dominate the competition game in and game out.
