While the first round of the NBA playoffs is winding down, we’re already looking forward to a marquee matchup in the Western Conference Semifinals where the Oklahoma City Thunder are set to meet the San Antonio Spurs in what might end up being the most anticipated second round series.
As soon as the Thunder finished off the Mavericks, fans began scooping up seats for the upcoming games against San Antonio. Interestingly enough, the average ticket price for a seat in OKC is significantly higher than those hosted by the Spurs.
The average ticket for Thunder home games is currently $369 while the Spurs come in at $246. However, that doesn’t mean Spurs fans aren’t willing to pony up for premium seats. Seats in the middle of Section 22 at the AT&T Center are going for over $1,500 while similar seats at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Section 106 are going for less than half that.
