Three weeks have gone by in the college football season and we have already been treated to some pretty memorable games. There are plenty of interesting matchups left on the schedule that will be must-watch games and also have national title implications. Here are the top five remaining games on the 2016 college football schedule.
Week 5 10/1: Louisville at Clemson
After Louisville destroyed Florida State, it set up for a matchup of the best offense in the nation against the best defense. This ACC bout very well could be the best game of the year and have national title implications.
Week 6 10/8 Florida State at Miami
This rivalry game will have an extra pep this year, as the Hurricanes have been running through their competition and are looking to take control of the ACC. Florida State football has won six straight against their in-state rival.
Week 8 10/22 Texas A&M at Alabama
The Aggies might have the last legitimate chance of competing with Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. Texas A&M has been surging up polls and will make a national title statement with a win.
Week 12 11/17 Louisville at Houston
Two of the most potent and exciting offenses will square off against each other in what could be the final audition to make the national title playoffs. Prepare for an offensive explosion in Houston when these two meet.
Week 13 11/26 Michigan at Ohio State
This game will probably be one of the most sought out Ohio State football tickets in recent memory. When the college football schedule came out, this was the one game that got every single fan excited. Jim Harbaugh and Urban Meyer will battle it out for bragging rights, an upper hand in recruiting, and a national college football playoff spot. This should be an epic game at “The Horseshoe.”
