Seattle: Best City for Sports in 2015

Being a native New Yorker, I sometimes fall into trap of believing life doesn’t exist off the island of Manhattan. However, a recent trip to Seattle turned my world upside down and now I often find myself referring to Seattle as the “best city in America for sports.” Although my friends on the East Coast want to check me into a hospital for that statement, I stand by it 100%.

Outside of satisfying my tourist bug with the Space Needle and Pike Place Fish Market, I had one goal in mind for my trip – catch a Mariners game. Being a huge sports fan, I was stoked when I learned the Sounders were in town too.

I have to say, when I got to those games I was blown away by every aspect of Safeco Field and CenturyLink. Not only are both stadiums two of the best I have ever been to but also the most convenient being just a few minutes walk from Downtown Seattle.

To pay homage to my new friends in the Pacific Northwest, I put together the below infographic that highlights my new found love for Seattle. Although New York sports will always have my heart, I have to give credit where it’s due.

Sorry Seattle, I hope I didn’t let out any secrets.
