The latest in NPR Music’s Tiny Desk video series finds singer-songwriter Angel Olsen showing off her solo prowess with four new tracks from her upcoming sophomore effort Burn Your Fire For No Witness. The upcoming album features a backing band consisting of Josh Jaeger on drums and Stewart Bronaugh on bass, but for the session, Olsen rocked solo on a pale, marble-colored fender, leaving the focus on her wavy country croon and soft spoken conversational voice. While a storm brewed outside, Angel Olsen warmed (and strangely chilled) everyone’s hearts with new tracks like “Unfucktheworld,” “Iota,” “Enemy” and “White Fire.”
