Thanks for stopping by and checking out our take on the best folk artists for the first half of 2013.
The common theme that you’ll find is that all artists are currently touring and most have a recently released an album, with the exception of Rodriguez of course. His last album came out in 1971, but that’s a completely different story that I’m not going to tackle in this piece. Let’s just leave it at thanking Malik Bendjelloul for creating the Academy Award-winning documentary, Searching for Sugar Man, and bringing Rodriguez back from the dead.
We hope you enjoy these artists as much as we do. As always, if you come across something you like, don’t be shy, grab tix and treat yourself to a live performance!
