College Stadium Review: A. J. Palumbo Center

Duquesne basketball has a long basketball tradition going back to a Final Four appearance in 1940. They have been to five NCAA Tournaments and two Sweet Sixteens. They have also been to the NIT 17 times including 1955 when they won the championship. The Dukes have also been to the CBI twice.

Duquesne has not been to the postseason since their second trip to the CBI in 2011, their third straight postseason appearance at the time, when they advanced to the quarterfinals. Four straight seasons out of the postseason will the Dukes motivated to get back this season.
Duquesne plays their home game sat the Palumbo Center, which opened in 1988. It seats nearly 4500 Dukes fans in the great city of Pittsburgh for great college basketball action.  Playing in the Atlantic 10 Conference, one of college basketball’s best conferences, the Dukes home schedule, great seats and great atmosphere make this a fantastic place to watch basketball.
Every seat has a great view of the court and you can enjoy your favorite concession items such as hot dogs, pulled pork sandwich, cookies and everyone’s favorite, beer!
The Dukes home schedule is always a good one as it is again in 2015-16.  These games include Penn State, Pepperdine, Pittsburgh, Robert Morris, Dayton, St. Louis, St. Bonaventure, LaSalle, Davidson, UMass, GW and more. Do not miss out on a great college basketball experience.
