College Stadium Review: Alumni Gym

The Elon Phoenix basketball team has one D-I postseason berth in school history, the 2013 CIT. In 1997, they played in the D-II NCAA Tournament, losing in the first round.

Alumni Gym

The students keep the noise level up with their screaming and cheering on the Phoenix throughout the game.

The Phoenix may not have a long winning tradition, but this does not stop them from being a great college basketball experience.
Alumni Gym opened in 1949 and seats a little over 1500 fans. The intimate setting means all of the seats are very close to the action, so you will not find a better view at a college basketball anywhere in the basketball crazy state of North Carolina. The students keep the noise level up with their screaming and cheering on the Phoenix throughout the game.
You will enjoy your favorite concession items such as pizza, nachos, popcorn, pretzels and Coke products while you watch the great basketball action.
Elon plays as part of the Colonial Athletic Association, a conference including Northeastern, James Madison, William & Mary, UNC Wilmington, Hofstra, Drexel, Delaware, Towson and College of Charleston.
Elon will play these schools at Alumni Gym this season with a trip to the postseason at stake. One of these teams will advance to the NCAA Tournament. Will it be the Phoenix? Come out this season and find out.
North Carolina is perhaps the greatest college basketball state in the country. Come out to Alumni Gym this season and see why that is.
