College Stadium Review: BankUnited Center

The Miami Hurricanes have been to the NCAA Tournament seven times in their history. In 2000 and in 2013, Miami went to the Sweet Sixteen. The Hurricanes have been to the NIT 11 times as well. In 2015, the Canes advanced all the way to the Championship Game at Madison Square Garden, falling to Stanford 66-64. Miami’s greatest basketball triumph was perhaps winning the 2013 ACC Tournament.

The Hurricanes play in college basketball’s greatest conference, the ACC, which includes college basketball’s best teams such as Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Pitt, Clemson, Florida State and more.

Some of the great players to come out of Miami include Rick Barry, Shane Larkin, Dick Hickox, Jack McClinton and many more.

The Hurricanes play their home games at the BankUnited Center, which opened in 2003 and seats 8000 Canes fans. Every seat at the BankUnited Center has a fantastic view of the action.
