College Stadium Review: Binghamton Events Center

The Binghamton Bearcats have been playing in Division I basketball since 2001. In 2004, they moved into the new Events Center on their campus in Vestel, NY. With a name like “Events Center” you get the feeling that many types of events are held in the arena  will be very generic and cold. But pleasantly, you will find the basketball games for the Bearcats has the opposite feel.

Binghamton Events Center

With all of the America East Conference teams represented on the banners hanging down from the rafters and the big four-sided scoreboard hanging over the court, the Events Center is a great place to watch a college basketball game.

The Events center sets up very nicely for Bearcats Basketball. It has a little over 5,100 seats, which means that all the seats have a great view of the court. With all of the America East Conference teams represented on the banners hanging down from the rafters and the big four-sided scoreboard hanging over the court, the Events Center is a great place to watch a college basketball game.

The 2015 Bearcats will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history and the first time since 2009 when they take the court this season. Their home games will include Army, Boston U, Colgate, St. Francis, FIU, Mount St. Mary’s, Albany, Stony Brook, New Hampshire and many more great match-ups. Do not miss out on the excitement of Bearcats basketball at the Events Center. Watch a great game while enjoying your favorite eats from the concessions stands such as hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, candy, hot chocolate and Coke products.
