College Stadium Review: Burton Coliseum

The McNeese State Cowboys have made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament in their history (1989 and 2002). The Cowboys have been to the NIT three times (1986, 2001 and 2011) and the CIT in 2012. Can the Cowboys get back to the postseason this year? Come out to the Burton Coliseum and see.

Burton Coliseum opened in 1976 and holds 8500 fans for the Cowboys home games. The Cowboys students and pep bands keep the noise level high as everyone enjoys a great game. You will be guaranteed a great seat while enjoying your favorite concession items such as hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, nachos, Frito pie, candy and sodas while taking in the action.
McNeese State plays in the Southland Conference, which includes teams such as Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Houston Baptist, Incarnate Word, Lamar, New Orleans, Nicholls State, Northwestern State, Sam Houston State, SE Louisiana, Stephen F Austin and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
These teams will be trying to win the Southland Conference Tournament and the automatic NCAA Tournament berth that comes along with it. They will also try to win the regular season championship, which also earns that team a postseason bid. So the action at Burton Coliseum will be intense this season.
