The Cajundome opened in 1985 and seats over 12,000 fans. That is a huge arena for the Sun Belt Conference. There are no bad seats at the Cajundome and you’ll enjoy your favorite concession items such as pizza, wings, nachos, and more as you watch the action. The Ragin Cajuns students and fans are as raucous and supportive as you will find in the country. They make any Cajuns game an event!
UL-Lafayette is part of the Sun Belt Conference, which includes teams such as Appalachian State, Arkansas State, UA-Little Rock, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, UL-Monroe, South Alabama, Texas State, UT-Arlington, and Troy. Those teams will be trying to win the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Sun Belt Tournament at the end of the season. They will also be trying to win the regular season championship to make sure they play in the postseason.
Do not miss out on the great college basketball action at the Cajundome this season. Come out as often as your can.
