The Bradley Braves have a long basketball tradition that goes back to the early days of the NCAA Tournament. Between 1950 and 1955, the Braves played in three Elite Eights and two National Championship Games (1950 and 1954). The Braves most recent NCAA Tournament trip resulted in a Sweet Sixteen trip in 2006 when they knocked off powerhouse programs Kansas and Pitt.
