College Stadium Review: Charles Koch Arena

Wichita State has been to the NCAA Tournament 12 times in school history. The Shockers have made it to the Sweet Sixteen six times (1964, 1965, 1981, 2006, 2013 and 2015) and the Elite Eight four times (1964, 1965, 1981 and 2013) and the Final Four twice (1965 and 2013). The Shockers have been to the NIT 12 times as well. They advanced to the semifinals at Madison Square Garden in 2011 when they won the championship by beating Alabama 66-57. The Shockers have been to the CBI in 2009 where they advanced to the quarterfinals.
Charles Koch Arena opened in 1955 and holds over 10,000 fans. All the seats at the Shockers games have a fantastic view of the action and you can enjoy all your favorites from the concession stands such as Pork and brisket sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, sodas, and much more.
Head Coach Gregg Marshall has led Shockers since 2007. Under the direction of Marshall, the Shockers have a 204-76 record. The Shockers continue to improve each year and always look to shake things up in the tournament.
Wichita State plays in the Missouri Valley Conference and plays teams like Missouri State, Indiana State University, Drake University, Bradley University, University of Evansville, and many more.
