The Colonials have been to the NIT three times (2008, 2013 and 2014). In 2013 they knocked out #1 seeded Kentucky 59-57 in what may be the biggest win in the history of the program.  In 2012, the Colonials played in the CIT and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Charles L. Sewall Center opened in 1985 and holds over 3000 fans. Every seat is a great one and you will enjoy all your favorite concession items such as pretzels, popcorn, nachos and more while watching the action. The students keep the noise level high when the Colonials take the floor and keep it that way throughout the game.
Robert Morris is part of the Northeast Conference, which includes schools such as Bryant, Central Connecticut, Fairleigh Dickinson, LIU Brooklyn, Mount St. Mary’s, Sacred Heart, St. Francis NY, St. Francis PA and Wagner. These schools will be trying to win the NEC Tournament to get the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. They will also be trying to win the regular season title to advance to one of the other postseason tournaments as well.  The action at Charles L. Sewall will be intense all season.
Do not miss out on any of the great college basketball action at the Charles L. Sewall Center this season. Bring the whole family out this season.
