The Colorado Buffaloes have a long, great basketball tradition. They have played in the NCAA Tournament 13 times including three of the last four. They have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen five times, the Elite Eight four times and the Final Four two times.
The Buffs have fared very well since moving to the PAC 12, one of college basketball’s best conferences. Colorado has advanced to three NCAA Tournaments while competing in the PAC 12 with teams such as Arizona, UCLA, Stanford, Cal, Washington, Oregon, and Utah.
Some of the greats who have played for Colorado in the past include Chauncey Billups, Scott Wedman, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jay Humphries and many more former NBA players.
The Coors Center opened its doors in 1979 and holds over 11,000 Buffaloes fans for home games. The gold chair back seats line the court going up 33 rows, giving every fans a great view. The atmosphere is fantastic as one might expect with a great student fan base playing top notch opponents from a power five conference.
The concessions are some of the best you’ll find at a college basketball game. You can get your choice of great food items such as hand carved sandwiches with homemade chips and gourmet popcorn.
