The Charleston Southern Buccaneers basketball team plays their games on campus at the CSU Fieldhouse. The atmosphere at the Buc Dome as it is affectionately known is fantastic for college basketball. This might be the smallest D-I venue of them all, but that means that every seat is a great one. CSU Fieldhouse seats only 881 fans but it sounds like more because all of them are into the game.
Bucs games truly are like a high school game with college players. The crowd is enthusiastic, the cheerleaders and band give it that great high school basketball ambiance, and the seats are all very close to the action.
You can enjoy your favorite concession items while watching a great Big South Conference basketball game up close at CSU Fieldhouse. This place is perfect to take the kids so they can experience a great college hoops game from up close.
The Bucs have made it to the NCAA Tournament once in school history and that was in 1997. They lost their first game to National powerhouse UCLA 109-75. They have not been back to the Big Dance since, however, the Bucs have played in the NIT twice in recent years, in 2013 and last season. In both of those seasons the Bucs were the regular season Big South Champions. Can they make it three of four years this season winning the championship? Come out to the CSU Fieldhouse and find out.
