College Stadium Review: Curb Event Center

The Belmont Bruins basketball team has been one of the most successful of the “mid-majors” over the past several years. Seven times since the 2006 season, the Bruins have played in the NCAA Tournament. They have also participated in two NIT Tournaments since 2004, advancing to the quarterfinals in 2014 and also played in the CIT in 2009 where they also went to the quarterfinals. So Bruins fans don’t go into the season hoping the team will make the postseason. They go into the season expecting it.

Curb Event Center

The Bruins play in a nice, new arena that seats only a little over 5000 fans, so every seat is near the floor.

The Bruins have yet to win a game at the NCAA Tournament, but in 2008 they lost to Duke by one point 71-10 and have played tough against the likes of Georgetown, Arizona and Virginia in the Big Dance the past few seasons. A member of the Ohio Valley Conference, the Bruins play in the 5000+ seat Curb Event Center in Nashville. Auditoriums and Arenas are all over the city in Nashville, giving fans plenty of choices for their entertainment dollar. College hoops fans can go watch Vanderbilt at Memorial gym or the SEC Tournament at Bridgestone Arena. But those who choose to check out the Bruins at Curb Event Center may be the ones getting the best bang for the buck.

Not only are they seeing a perennial NCAA Tournament caliber team, but they are watching the Bruins play in a nice, new arena that seats only a little over 5000 fans, so every seat is near the floor. Not only that, but the Curb Event Center is right in the middle of Music Row in Nashville so the entertainment does not end when the game ends. You will be able to catch a great concert and also find a great restaurant or bar in the vicinity for your pregame and post game entertainment.  If you want to be a part of a great college basketball game experience, do not miss the Belmont Bruins at the Curb Event Center in Nashville.
