College Stadium Review: Dahlberg Arena

The Montana Grizzlies have been to the NCAA Tournament 10 times in school history. Their most recent trip was in 2013. They have also been to the NIT four times, including last season. They have also been to the CBI in 2011.

When these teams come to Dahlberg Arena the entire town of Missoula gets excited.

The Grizzlies play their home games at Dahlberg Arena, which opened in 1953 and holds 7500 fans. These fans bleed the school colors of maroon and silver and keep the noise level at the Dahlberg Arena at a fever pitch. Every seat has a beautiful view of the court and you will enjoy your favorite concession items such as nachos, popcorn, pretzels, hot dogs and candy.
The Grizzlies are part of the Big Sky Conference which includes teams such as Eastern Washington, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana State, North Dakota, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Portland State, Cal State Sacramento, Southern Utah and Weber State. When these teams come to Dahlberg Arena the entire town of Missoula gets excited. Game day is a big deal here, especially conference games.
These teams will be competing for the automatic bid the the NCAA Tournament by winning the Big Sky Tournament. They will also be trying to win the conference regular season championship to earn an automatic postseason bid to one of the other tournaments. The action on the court at Dahlberg Arena will be fierce all season.
