College Stadium Review: Dedmon Center

The Radford Highlanders basketball team has been to the NCAA Tournament twice in their history (1998 and 2009). The Highlanders have also been to the CBI the past two seasons, advancing to the quarterfinals both times. Can they get back to the postseason again this season? Come out to the Dedmon Center and see.

The Dedmon Center opened in 1981 and it seats over 3000 fans. Every seat is close to the floor so you can have a great view while the Highlanders play.

The Dedmon Center opened in 1981 and it seats over 3000 fans. Every seat is close to the floor and you will enjoy all your favorite concessions while watching the Highlanders play. You can get nachos with jalapenos, hot dogs, popcorn and Coke products to enjoy at the Dedmon Center. The students and pep band keep the atmosphere at a high level and if you like cheerleaders, the Radford game is for you.
Radford plays in the Big South Conference with teams such as Campbell, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Liberty, Longwood, Presbyterian, UNC Asheville and Winthrop. These teams will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Big South Conference Tournament following the regular season. But, they will also be trying to win the regular season to assure themselves of an automatic postseason berth into one of the other tournaments as well. So there is a lot of intensity between these teams as they play in front of the raucous crowd at the Dedmon Center.
Do not miss out on the excitement of Highlanders basketball this season. Bring the whole family out to as many games as you can. Order your tickets today!
