College Stadium Review: Donald Reynolds Center

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane has been to the NCAA Tournament 15 times in their history. Seven times they advanced to the Round of 32, three times they have made the Sweet Sixteen (194,1995 and 2000). In 2000, the Golden Hurricane made it to the Elite Eight before losing a close game to North Carolina.

Tulsa is in the American Athletic Conference, which includes some of the best college basketball programs in the country.

Tulsa has been to the NIT 10 times in their fine basketball history. The Hurricane won the NIT in 1981 and in 2001. Last season, they advanced to the second round. Tulsa also won the CBI in 2008 and went back to the CBI in 2013.
Tulsa plays their home games at the Donald Reynolds Center, which opened in 1998 and seats nearly 8400 fans. There are no bad seats at the Reynolds Center and you will enjoy your view while also enjoying your favorite concession items such as brats, hot dogs, chicken baskets and burgers.  The Tulsa students keep the game day atmosphere upbeat as they cheer the team onto victory!
Tulsa is in the American Athletic Conference, which includes some of the best college basketball programs in the country. Teams such as UConn, Temple, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, SMU, UCF, USF, East Carolina and Tulane will be visiting the Reynolds Center this season. You will not go wrong on any of these great AAC games.
The winner of the AAC Tournament will be receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, but there will likely be some at-large bids handed out to a few of them as well. The action at the Reynolds Center will be intense all season long.
