The Golden Eagles have been to the NIT twice (1985 and 2002). In 2002 they made it to the quarterfinals. The Golden Eagles have also been to the CIT twice (2011 and 2012). Can they get back to the postseason for the first time in four years?
The Eblen Center opened in 1977 and seats over 9000 fans. There are no bad seats at the Eblen Center and you will enjoy a great game time atmosphere along with your favorite concessions such as pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, sodas and more. The students keep the place rocking as they show up in droves to support the Golden Eagles. The home court advantage is one of the strongest in the conference. You can be a part of it.
The Golden Eagles play in the Ohio Valley Conference with teams such as Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Murray State, SE Missouri State, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State and Tennessee Martin. These teams will be trying to get to the Big Dance by winning the OVC Tournament and the automatic bid that comes with that. But, if they can win the regular season championship, they will be assured a postseason berth to one of the other tournaments as well. So the action will be on fire all season long.
You do not want to miss out on the excitement of Golden Eagles basketball as they try to get back to the NCAA Tournament. Order your tickets today!
