Greensboro Coliseum

These teams will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the SoCon Tournament which comes with an automatic bid to the Big Dance.

The Spartans play in a top-notch arena in the Greensboro Coliseum which opened in 1959 and seats over 23,500 fans. The Greensboro  Coliseum has hosted 23 ACC Tournaments and 12 NCAA Tournaments in its history. There are no bad seats at the GC and the concessions are great as well. You’ll enjoy your comfortable seat with you favorite snacks such as pizza, chicken fingers, burgers, hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches and sodas while you watch a great game.
The atmosphere is fantastic at the Spartans games. Not many places in college basketball taken more seriously than in North Carolina. The fans are into the game and keep the noise level high which is what you’d expect at t a great college basketball venue.
UNCG plays in the Southern Conference which includes teams such as UT-Chattanooga, The Citadel, East Tennessee State, Furman, Mercer, Samford, VMI, Western Carolina and Wofford. These teams will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the SoCon Tournament which comes with an automatic bid to the Big Dance. They will also be trying to win the regular season championship which  has an automatic bid to one of the other postseason tournaments for the winner. So the action will be intense for these games all season long.
You don’t want to miss out on Spartans basketball this season.
