College Stadium Review: Hart Center

The Holy Cross Crusaders basketball team has been the the NCAA Tournament 12 times in school history. The Crusaders won the 1947 NCAA Tournament by beating Oklahoma in the championship game 58-47. George Kaftan was the NCAA Tournament MOP that season. In 1948, they made it back to the Final Four where they lost to Kentucky 60-52. In 1950, Holy Cross went back to the Elite Eight before losing to NC State and in 1953 they were back in the Elite Eight when they lost to LSU.

The most recent Holy Cross trip to the NCAA Tournament happened in 2007. Can this once glorious college basketball program get back to the Big Dance in 2016? Come out to the Hart Center and find out.

The Hart Center has been the Crusaders home since 1975 and it holds over 3,600 fans. Every seat in the Hart Center is close to the action. You will enjoy all your favorite concession items such as hot dogs, pizzas, popcorn and Coke products.

Holy Cross is in the Patriot League which includes Army, American, Boston University, Bucknell, Colgate, Lafayette, Lehigh, Navy and Loyola MD. Those teams will come to the Hart Center this season trying to get to the postseason by winning the regular season championship. The Patriot League Tournament winner will get an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, so there will be some intensity on the court.
