Henderson Center

This is old school college basketball where dad and the kids come to pig out and watch a great game.

Marshall is the place where future Hall of Fame coach Billy Donovan got his start. He has won two NCAA Tournaments and is now coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, one of the favorites to win the NBA championship this season.
Marshall has played in the Henderson Center since it opened in 1981. The arena holds over 9000 Herd fans for their home games. Almost all the seats are chair backs seats for the fans comfort and the concession selections include hot dogs, popcorn, cracker jacks, candy and pretzels. There is no health food here. This is old school college basketball where dad and the kids come to pig out and watch a great game.
Marshall plays in Conference USA, which has a lot of college basketball tradition with teams such as UAB, UNC Charlotte, Louisiana Tech, Old Dominion, Texas El Paso, Texas San Antonio, Western Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, Rice and North Texas. UTEP has a NCAA Tournament Championship and UNC Charlotte has a Final Four in their history.
With great teams like these coming to play at the Henderson Center, you will want to bring the family to as many games as you can this season.
