College Stadium Review: KSU Convocation Center

The Kennesaw State Owls have not been to the D-I NCAA Tournament as of yet, but they have been to the NAIA Tournament and the D-II NCAA Tournament three times. The Owls won the D-II NCAA Tournament in 20014 when they beat Southern Indiana 84-59 for their first National Championship. Can the Owls make it to the Big Dance this season? Come out to the KSU Convocation Center and find out.

KSU Convocation Center

The KSU Convocation Center opened in 2005 and holds nearly 5,000 fans. Every seat is close to the court and you will be sitting in a chair rather than a bench seat. The students and the fans in this small Georgia town are really into the Owls. The atmosphere is great for college basketball and you will enjoy your favorite concession items such as nachos, pretzels, popcorn, hot dogs and more.

The Owls games are a hot ticket in Cobb County, a place where they take their local sports very seriously. The Convocation Center is a first class venue with all the modern amenities. Take in an Owls game this season, and you will be hooked. By halftime, you will be “Hooting” at the opposing players just like the veteran Owl fans.

KSU is part of the A-Sun Conference which includes Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, New Jersey Tech, North Florida, USC Upstate and Stetson. These teams will be trying to win the A-Sun Tournament to try and be the next Cinderella such as FGCU was in 2013 when they advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.
