College Stadium Review: McBrayer Arena

The Eastern Kentucky Colonels have made eight trips to the NCAA Tournament in school history with three of them since 2005. They have also been to the CIT in two of the last three seasons and the CBI in 2010.

McBrayer Arena

This year’s home schedule includes Coppin State, Ball State, SC State, Longwood, Southern Utah, FAU, UT-Martin, Murray State, Morehead State and more.

The Colonels advanced to the quarterfinals of last season’s CIT with wins over Norfolk State and High Point before losing to fellow Ohio Valley member UT-Martin.
McBrayer Arena has been the home of the Colonels since 1963. It currently holds 6500 fans for home games in the college basketball-mad Commonwealth of Kentucky. The McBrayer Arena has a great college basketball atmosphere with all of the seats close to the action and a loud and rowdy student section. The pep band keeps the crowd pumped up as the design of the building seems to amplify the noise, making McBrayer Arena an intimidating place for visiting teams.
Enjoy you favorite concessions such as chicken sandwiches, brats, pizzas, hot dogs and Pepsi products as you watch the great OVC action.
