College Stadium Review: Millett Hall

The Miami Redhawks have been to the NCAA Tournament 17 times, the most recent in 2007. Miami has made four Sweet Sixteen appearances (1958, 1969, 1978 and 1999). The Redhawks have also been to the NIT six times, making it to the quarterfinals in 1993. Miami has also made two CBI trips (2008 and 2011).

Miami is part of the Mid American Conference which includes teams such as Buffalo, Northern Illinois, Ball State, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Ohio, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Bowling Green, Akron and Toledo.

 

Can Miami get back to the postseason in 2016? Come out to Millett Hall this season and find out. Millett Hall opened in 1968 and seats 6400 fans for basketball. You will enjoy some great concessions while watching the Redhawks such as hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches, sodas and more. The sets all have a great view of the court and the students and pep band keeps the atmosphere lively.

These teams will be trying to win the MAC Tournament to get the automatic NCAA Tournament bid this season, and will also be trying to win the regular season championship to ensure a bid to the NIT. The intensity at Millett Hall for these games will be noticeable as these rivals play.
