College Stadium Review: Moby Arena

The Colorado State Rams have had some success recently on the basketball court.  They have been to the NCAA Tournament ten times with two of those in 2012 and 2013. They have also been to the NIT eight times with two of those in 2011 and 2015.  The Rams also went to the CBI in 2010. That’s a lot of recent winning at Moby Arena.

The Rams recently won 27 in a row at Moby Arena and the fan support has a lot to do with that.

The Rams are in the Mountain West Conference that includes schools such as Utah State, Boise State, UNLV, Wyoming, San Diego State, San Jose State, Nevada, New Mexico, Fresno State and Air Force.
Moby Arena opened in 1966 and holds over 8700 Rams fans. They scream and yell for their home team at “The Whale”, giving them a great home court advantage. The Rams recently won 27 in a row at Moby Arena and the fan support has a lot to do with that.
You can enjoy great concession items from a great seat at Moby Arena such as pizza, brats, chicken sandwiches, pork sandwiches, nachos and candy. The view from your seat will be awesome as Moby is big enough to create a lot of noise, but small enough where all the seats are close to the floor.
There are plenty of great places after the game to get something to eat and drink. CB & Potts, Road 34, Mo Jeauxs, and Fuzzy’s Tacos are great for getting your post game eats.
This season’s home schedule includes games with Loyola Marymount, Oakland, Long Beach State, Colorado, UNLV, SD State, Wyoming, and New Mexico.
