Convocation Center

It is a great arena for college basketball, not so big you are too far away from the floor, but large enough to create a great atmosphere.

The Convocation Center opened in opened in 2002 and holds 10,000 fans. It is a great arena for college basketball, not so big you are too far away from the floor, but large enough to create a great atmosphere. There are some great concessions such as chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, pizzas ad more and you can enjoy them while watching a great college basketball game.
The Huskies play in the Mid American Conference which includes teams such as Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Kent State, Miami OH, Ohio, Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Western Michigan. These teams play some great basketball and one of them will get the automatic NCAA Tournament bid by winning the MAC Tournament. They will also be trying to win the regular season championship which ensures the winner no worse than a bid to the NIT. So the action on the court will be intense this season.
Come out to the Convocation Center this season for some great MAC basketball with the Northern Illinois Huskies. Bring the whole family out for a great time.
