College Stadium Review: Pan American Center

The New Mexico State Aggies have been to the NCAA Tournament 22 times in school history. The most recent trip was in 2015, the fourth straight year they have made it to the Big Dance. Their best showing at the NCAA Tournament is 1970 when they made it to the Final Four. It was the third straight year in which the Aggies made the Sweet Sixteen. They also went to the Sweet Sixteen in 1992.

The Aggies are part of the Western Athletic Conference which has teams such as UMKC, Cal State Bakersfield, Chicago State, Grand Canyon U, Seattle U, Texas Rio Grande Valley and Utah Valley.

New Mexico State has played in the NIT four times, making it to the quarterfinals twice. Some of the great Aggies players include Charlie Criss, John Williamson, Sam Lacey, Reggie Jordan and many more.
The Aggies play their home games at the Pan American Center which opened in 1968 and holds almost 9000 fans for home games. Every seat is a chair back and all have a great view of he court. You will enjoy the great college basketball with your favorite concession items such as popcorn, nachos, hot dogs and beer!
The student section is in the lower end behind one of the baskets, so they create a loud environment to make it tough for the opponents. This makes for a good atmosphere for the fans.

These teams will be trying to win the WAC Tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament this season and New Mexico State is one of the favorites.
