College Stadium Review: Ramsey Center

Western Carolina has been to the NCAA Tournament one time in school history (1996) where they were very close to pulling off the only #16 seed upset over a #1 seed when they lost to Purdue 73-71. Will the Catamounts make it back to the Big Dance this season? Come out to Ramsey Center and find out.

The atmosphere is great with the fans and students making noise and cheering on the Catamounts to another victory.

The Catamounts have only one other postseason appearance, the CIT in 2010 where they lost in the first round to Marshall by two, 90-88.

Western Carolina plays at the Ramsey Center which opened in 1986 and holds nearly 8000 fans. All the seats are fantastic and you will enjoy such as cotton candy, popcorn, nachos, and more. Western Carolina is part of the Southern Conference which includes teams such as UT Chattanooga, The Citadel, East Tennessee State, Furman, Mercer, Samford, UNC Greensboro, VMI and Wofford. These teams will try to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the SoCon Tournament. They will also be trying to get to the postseason by winning the regular season championship as well. So the action will be intense all season long at the Ramsey Center.
