They won the NIT in 1987 and two other times went as far as the quarterfinals (2013 and 2014). In 2010, they also went to the CIT. Can the Golden Eagles get back to the postseason in 2016? Come out to the Reed Green Coliseum and see.

Reed Green Coliseum

The Eagles fans make it a raucous environment for the home team, often having football-like “Black Out” games for a big time opponent.

The Golden Eagles have called Reed Green Coliseum since 1965. It seats over 8000 fans for the home games of the Eagles. There are no bad seats at Reed Green. The Eagles fans make it a raucous environment for the home team, often having football-like “Black Out” games for a big time opponent. The concession fare is the game day standards such as burgers, hot dogs, popcorn and sodas you can enjoy from a great seat.
The Golden Eagles play in Conference USA, which includes some great college basketball teams such as UAB, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, UNC Charlotte, North Texas, Old Dominion, Rice, UTEP, UTSA and Western Kentucky. These teas will be trying to with the C-USA Tournament to qualify automatically for the NCAA Tournament. They will also be trying to qualify for one of the other postseason tournaments by winning the regular season championship. There will be a lot of fired up teams coming to Reed Green Coliseum this season with all of that at stake.
