College Stadium Review: Rider University Alumni Gym

The Rider Broncs have been to the NCAA Tournament three times in school history (1984, 1993 and 1994). They have been to the NIT once (1998), the CBI twice (2008, 2015) and the CIT three times (2009, 2001 and 2013). That is a lot of recent success for the Broncs program. Will they get back to the postseason this year? Come out to Alumni Gym and find out.

Rider University Alumni Gym

The student section known as the “Broncs Zoo” creates a great home court advantage for the Broncs.

Alumni Gym opened up in 1959 and seats 1650 fans.  The student section known as the “Broncs Zoo” creates a great home court advantage for the Broncs.  This is old school college basketball on wooden bleachers and the fans generate the noise.  You will have a great view of the court because every seat is a close one.  You will enjoy all your favorite concessions such as popcorn; hot dogs pretzels and more while the Broncs bring it on the floor.
Rider is part of the MAAC, which includes Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, Manhattan, Marist, Monmouth, Niagara, Quinnipiac, St. Peter’s and Siena. These schools will be trying to win the MAAC Tournament to earn the conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament bid. They will also be attempting to win the MAAC regular season title to earn a bid to one of the other postseason tournaments. So the action will be intense for the conference games this season.
You do not want to miss out on any of the fantastic Rider Broncs basketball games at the Alumni Gym.
