College Stadium Review: SEFCU Arena

If you are a fan of March Madness (and who isn’t?) then you have probably seen the Albany Great Danes the past couple of seasons. They have pulled out the last two America East Conference Tournaments with heart-stopping wins over Stony Brook and then gone on to the Big Dance. Two seasons ago they faced the overall #1 seed and eventual Final Four participant, Florida Gators in Orlando and did quite well.

The Great Danes play their games at SEFCU Arena, a 4500 seat arena that opened in 1992. Two seasons ago, the SEFCU Arena hosted the Men’s and Women’s AEC Tournaments on the same weekend, so you know this is a great place to watch college basketball.
Every seat is close to the action and you can enjoy all your favorite concessions at great prices too. They offer the favorites such as popcorn, chicken tenders, nachos and candy.
