The Boston College Eagles have a very rich basketball tradition as a former member of the storied Big East Conference and a current member of the even more storied ACC. BC has played in the NCAA Tournament 18 times, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen nine times and the Elite Eight three times (1967, 1982, 1994). The Eagles have been to the Big Dance seven times in the 200os but have not appeared since 2009. It is about time the Eagles made it back and in 2015-16 they will be trying to make it happen.
Boston College basketball at the Conte Forum is as good as it gets in the game. The Forum opened in 1988 and it holds nearly 9000 fans for the Eagles home games in beautiful Chestnut Hill, Mass, an upper class suburb of Boston. This arena has seen many of college basketball’s greatest teams over the years from Georgetown, Syracuse, Louisville, Villanova, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall and St John’s from their days in the Big East to North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, Florida State and Maryland from the ACC. Now, Syracuse, Pitt, Virginia Tech and Miami are in the ACC to reunite with the Eagles from the Big East.
This year’s Eagles home schedule in the Conte Forum includes game with Harvard, Penn State, Maine, New Hampshire, Duke, Notre Dame, Miami, Florida State, North Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and more. With a home schedule like this, you will not want to miss any of the Boston College hoops action at the Conte Forum this season.
With less than 9000 seats, you are guaranteed a great view of the floor while you watch last year’s NCAA Champions (Duke) and many teams capable of being this year’s champions.
