College Stadium Review: Stroh Center

The Bowling Green Falcons basketball team will be taking the court at the Stroh Center in 2015-16 trying to get to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1968. The Falcons have had a long drought as far as getting to the Big Dance, but have still had some success in the Mid American Conference, winning the regular season MAC Championship as recently as 2009.

Stroh Convention Center

The Falcons home games at the Stroh Center are a great time for the entire family.

The Stroh Center opened in 2011 with 4700 seats. This means that every seat has a great view of the floor and the small size really means that the noise level is high. One would think that a program without a trip to the Big Dance would not have much of a fan following or a great atmosphere, but this is not the case with Bowling Green.

Falcons games are everything you’d want for a great college basketball game. A nice clean, comfortable arena with great concessions, a great view of the court, a crowd that is into the team and great opponents, make a trip to the Stroh Center worth it. The MAC has great rivalries and the action is always intense. Bring the whole family to Falcons basketball this season.

This year’s home schedule will include games with Cincinnati, Central Michigan, Miami OH, Ohio, Western Michigan, and many others. Do not miss out on any of the great MAC basketball action this season.
