College Stadium Review: Super Pit

The North Texas Mean Green basketball team has been to the NCAA Tournament three times in school history, the most recent in 2010. Can the Mean Green get back in 2016? Come out to the Super Pit and find out.

The action at the Super Pit be great all season long as these teams compete for championships.

The Mean Green has been playing at the Super Pit since 1973 and seats over 10,000 fans. The building may be old, but the seats are new, as all have been replaced. So you will have a comfortable seat with a great view of the court no matter where you sit. Is there a better name in college basketball than the Super Pit for an arena? That names let’s the opposing teams know they are in for a rough time. The fans, the pep band and the cheerleaders keep the noise level high all game long, creating a great college basketball atmosphere.
The Mean Green plays in Conference USA. The other teams in C-USA include UAB, FAU, FIU, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, UNC Charlotte, Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, UTEP, UTSA and Western Kentucky.
These teams will be trying to get the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by winning the C-USA Tournament, but will also be trying to win the regular season conference title to assure them a postseason berth.
