College Stadium Review: The Nest at Colberg Court

The Sacramento State Hornets have never been to the NCAA Tournament. They have been to the CIT though, that was in 2015 when they advanced to the second round. The Hornets are still new to D-I. They did go to the NCAA D-II Tournament four times in the school history.

The Hornets play their home games at The Nest (where else?) at Colberg Court. The Nest opened in 1955 and seats a bit over 1000 fans

The Hornets play their home games at The Nest (where else?) at Colberg Court.  The Nest opened in 1955 and seats a bit over 1000 fans. Every seat is a close one and you can enjoy all you favorite concession items such as hot dogs, Polish sausages, popcorn, nachos and more.  The atmosphere at the Hornets games is among the best you’ll find at a small college venue. Hornets fans are very passionate about their team and they make sure the opposition knows this.
The Hornets are part of the Big Sky Conference, which includes teams such as Eastern Washington, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, North Dakota, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Portland State, Southern Utah, and Weber State.
These teams will be trying to win the Big Sky Conference Tournament to get to the Big Dance. They will also be trying to win the regular season conference title to assure themselves a postseason tournament berth. So the action at The Best will be intense all season.
Don’t miss out on the great Big Sky Conference basketball action at The Nest at Colberg Court this season. Bring the kids to the Hornets games and have a great time.
