These teams will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Horizon League Tournament and gaining the automatic bid.

The Flames have also been to the NIT in 2003 and the CIT in 2013 where they advanced to the second round. That was their last postseason appearance.
UIC plays at the UIC Pavilion, which opened in 1982, and seats nearly 7000 fans for home games. You will have a great view of the court and enjoy your favorite concession items such as popcorn, hot dogs and sodas while watching the action. The students will keep the atmosphere loud as they cheer on the Flames.
UIC is part of the Horizon League, which means teams such as Cleveland State, Detroit, Green Bay, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Valparaiso, Wright State and Youngstown State will be coming to the UIC Pavilion this season. These teams will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Horizon League Tournament and gaining the automatic bid. They will also be trying to win the conference regular season title to assure them of a postseason bid to one of the other tournaments. So the action at UIC Pavilion will be intense all season.
Come out to the UIC Pavilion often this season. Don’t miss out on the great college basketball action.
