College Stadium Review: UTSA Convocation Center

The Texas San Antonio basketball team has been to the NCAA Tournament four times (1988, 1999, 2004 and 2011). The Roadrunners are 1-4 in NCAA Tournament games. The Roadrunners have not appeared in the NIT, CIT or CBI. Will they get to the postseason in 2016? Come out to the Convocation Center and find out.

UTSA Convocation Center

UTSA plays in Conference USA which includes teams such as UAB, FAU, FIU, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Charlotte, North Texas, Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, UTEP and Western Kentucky.

The Convocation Center opened in 1975 and seats over 4000 fans. There are only great seats at the Convocation Center and you will enjoy the view along with your favorite concessions such as hot dogs, chili dogs, turkey and chicken wraps, nachos, popcorn and sodas. The students and band create a festive home court advantage for the Roadrunners in this basketball-crazy city.
UTSA plays in Conference USA which includes teams such as UAB, FAU, FIU, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Charlotte, North Texas, Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, UTEP and Western Kentucky. These teams have great basketball tradition and they will be trying to get to the NCAA Tournament by winning the C-USA Tournament, but will also be trying to win enough games for an at-large bid. So the action at Convocation Center will be intense all season long.
You won’t want to miss out on any of the great college basketball action this season at the Convocation Center. Bring the whole family out as often as you can.
