College Stadium Review: Vadalabene Center

The SIU Edwardsville Cougars have never been to the NCAA Tournament, not have they been to any of the Division I postseason tournaments. The Cougars are new to D-I basketball and you can watch them grow up before your eyes by coming out to the Sam M. Vadalabene Center this season.

These teams will all be trying to get to the Big Dance by winning the OVC Tournament, but will also be trying to win the regular season title, which means an automatic postseason berth.

The Cougars have been playing at the Vadalabene Center since it opened in 1984. It holds 4200 fans and every seat is a great one. You can enjoy all your favorite concession items such as hot dogs, popcorn, candy and pizza while you watch the D-I college basketball action.
The atmosphere at Vadalabene Center is superb, and why not? These fans are pumped about the possibility of going to the Big Dance. Will this be the year? It could be.
The Cougars are in the Ohio Valley Conference, which includes teams such as Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Murray State, SE Missouri State, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, and Tennessee Martin. These teams will all be trying to get to the Big Dance by winning the OVC Tournament, but will also be trying to win the regular season title, which means an automatic postseason berth.
Don’t miss out on the excitement of SIU Edwardsville basketball this season. Bring the kids out to the games at Vadalabene Center all season long.
