Since the release of their electronic disco smash Random Access Memories, the digital duo that is Daft Punk has spent the greater portion of 2013 under the radar. As 2014 sets in motion, the robots are gearing up for a massive televised comeback at this years Grammys, backed by – surprise, surprise – “Get Lucky” collaborators Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams and the RAM backing band. But even more surprising is the addition of Stevie Wonder, who has been confirmed to team up with Daft Punk for what is sure to be a funky, improv-filled evening.
Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder to Perform Together at The Grammys
The event marks the band’s first live show since the release of the album, as well as their first Grammy show since backing Kanye West in 2008. The Grammy Awards premier on CBS on January 26th, 2014. Along with Daft Punk and the gang, the show will feature performances from Kendrick Lamar, Pink, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, and many more.
