The Denver Broncos schedule begins with a game at Mile High Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens. It will be a battle of two high scoring AFC playoff teams from a year ago. A week one game against Baltimore will be a good early test for the Broncos and get them prepared for a challenging season. Peyton Manning is getting up in age and the window for the Broncos to win a super bowl is closing each year. From Denver the time is now. Following week one Denver has two more tough contests against Kansas City and Detroit. In particular Kansas City poses a problem for the Broncos due to their superior running game. The Broncos struggle on defense at time to stop the run and the Chiefs will attempt to control the clock. Following week three, things get a little easier for Denver. They have a string of three games against Minnesota, Oakland, and Cleveland. Minnesota and Oakland both have young quarterbacks and poor defenses that Peyton Manning will expose with his intelligence. Cleveland will be the toughest test for Denver during this stretch. This game is on the road and the Browns have a solid defense that could give Manning some problems. All in all this should be three straight wins for the Broncos.

After week six the Broncos have a bye week to prepare for their two most challenging games of the season. They face Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay in week 8 and Andrew Luck and the Colts in week 9. Indianapolis defeated the Broncos in the playoffs last year to end their season. The Broncos offense struggled to score against the Colts defense who had not been playing that well over the course of the season. Andrew Luck has a wide range of offensive weapons to throw to and can put up points in a hurry, so Peyton Manning will have to play much better to get some revenge. The same can be said for the game against Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best quarterback in the NFL this year and that game figures to be a shootout. Overall, the Broncos have a very challenging second half of the season. The Denver Broncos schedule finishes up with games against Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and San Diego. The Broncos offense will have to put up a lot of points this season because they face many of the top quarterbacks and offenses in the game over the course of the season. The health of Peyton Manning will be a major factor and key for Denver this year. Overall the Denver Broncos schedule is tough and they will need to take advantage of the three game stretch against weaker competition in order to put themselves in good playoff positioning.
