Kansas City Chiefs Schedule

The Kansas City Chiefs will be a contender in the AFC West Division this season one would expect. They made it to the AFC playoffs last season and with Peyton Manning getting yet another year older, it would seem this division is within’ reach in 2015 for Coach Andy Reid’s team.

The Chiefs preseason will kick off on Saturday August 15 at 9:00 at the Arizona Cardinals. They will then take on the Seattle Seahawks on Friday August 21 at 8:00 in their first home preseason game. The preseason concludes with the Tennessee Titans coming in the following Friday at 8:00 and then a road game at the St. Louis Rams on Thursday September 3. Then the regular season begins!

The Kansas City Chiefs September schedule will look like this:

September 13 @ 1:00 at Houston Texans

September 17 @ 8:25 vs Denver Broncos

September 28 @ 8:30 at Green Bay Packers

That is two primetime games in the first three weeks of the regular season for the Chiefs. The first one on 9-17 will be a big division game against the Broncos, who figure to be the Chiefs main rival for the championship. Going to Green Bay in September is much preferred over December.

The Kansas City Chiefs October schedule looks like this”

October 4 @ 1:00 at Cincinnati Bengals

October 11 @ 1:00 vs Chicago Bears

October 18 @ 1:00 at Minnesota Vikings

October 25 @ 1:00 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Vikings game brings back fond memories for Chiefs fans at this was the matchup in Super Bowl four, the last time the Chiefs won it. The Steelers are one of those elite teams that every fan base gets excited about seeing come to town.

The Kansas City Chiefs November schedule is:

November 1 @ 9:30 AM vs Detroit Lions in London

November 15 @ 4:25 at Denver Broncos

November 22 @ 8:25 at San Diego Chargers

November 29 @ 1:00 vs Buffalo Bills

A trip to London to face the Lions is the highlight of the November schedule. They come back from abroad to face two tough division opponents on the road in Denver and San Diego. That will be a tough stretch of games.

The Kansas City Chiefs December schedule looks like this:

December 6 @ 4:05 at Oakland Raiders

December 13 @ 1:00 vs San Diego Chargers

December 20 @ 1:00 at Baltimore Ravens

December 27 @ 1:00 vs Cleveland Browns

The game at the Ravens will be a tough one as they are always a good defensive team and Joe Flacco is always tough. The Raiders game renews one of football’s oldest and most bitter rivalries.

The Kansas City Chiefs January schedule is:

January 3 1:00 vs Oakland Raiders

The regular season ends with another of the great Raiders-Chiefs rivalry, this time at home. The game will likely be a big one for one if not both teams. The Chiefs of course expect that they will have more games to play after the Raiders game. We shall see.

Kansas City has some tough games on the slate. That November stretch will likely tell the tale on their season. Normally it takes a team a little time to get back in sync after a game in London. The Chiefs had better find their rhythm quickly with two road division games right after. That is a long time between home games with the last one in October on the 25th and the next one not until November 29th.

If the Chiefs survive that stretch, they could be a dangerous team the rest of the way.
