The latest installment in The Late Show With David Letterman‘s celebration of Beatles Week brings out Lenny Kravitz, for a cover of “Get Back,” a tall tale about a stoned Arizona hermit named Jojo and Sweet Loretta Martin. The cover has Kravitz rocking the same groove found in the original, with help from Letterman band leader Paul Shaffer playing some funky tunes on the black and whites.

Kravitz’ performance is a follow up to Broken Bells‘ cover of “And I Love Her” and Sting‘s cover of “Drive My Car.” Tonight, Beatles Week continues with The Flaming Lips, who are slated to perform what’s undoubtedly going to be an epic “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” with Sean Lennon.
