Lollapalooza continues their expansion into South America, as they announce the impressive lineup for next year’s festival in Brazil. The fest will take place at the Interlagos Race Track in São Paulo on April 5th and 6th of 2014. The Chicago-born festival is making the southward pilgrimage all the more appealing, especially with the coinciding Lolla fests in Chile and Argentina. Check out the lineup below!
The third installment of Lollapalooza Brazil boasts fifty acts on five stages, marking the biggest edition of the festival yet. The South American market is proving fruitful for the Lolla brand, as they pave the way into an untapped market of live music fans. When looking at this year’s lineup, you might do a double-take just to make sure it’s not for the Chicago fest; it really packs a punch.
The headliners include Arcade Fire, Muse, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, with notable second-tier acts like Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, and Ellie Goulding. What’s more, the lineup offers considerable depth with performances from Lorde, Jake Bugg, Portugal. The Man, and Savages.
Festivals have turned up just about everywhere imaginable in the U.S., but South America and Europe are the wide-open frontier. Check out the full lineup here.
